Jamillah E. Yancey was born and raised in Newark, NJ who currently resides in Roselle, NJ. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Kean University. She’s been in the education field for over 15 years. She currently works with children that have special needs. She has a strong passion for the needs of children. This passion was cultivated from growing up in the church with her father being a pastor.

This anthology makes Jamillah a first time published author. She hopes to inspire women to be healed from her story, who can relate from the stand point of broken relationships, loss of loved ones and loss of self. God has blessed Jamillah with a love and compassion for people. God has also given her a gift as a caretaker for her late husband who loss his battle with heart disease and biological mother who currently suffers from Alzheimer’s Dementia.
